The Evans style Goniostat is made to produce round faces on cutting tools with a lap. It is suitable for round cutters in 1/8″, 3/16″, and ¼” in both carbide and high speed steel. To use the opposite end the bar with the brass ball is simply turned around. There is a bushing included to fit 1/8″ rounds on the 3/16″ side. It is a nice companion to the Goniostat available from Peter Gerstel.
