The “H” stands for “Handles.” The patterns have lower amplitudes that lend themselves well to making handles for all sorts of implements such as screw drivers and chisels. They are specifically designed to go along with the ice cream scoop handles described in the instructions for the Lindow Curvilinear Apparatus.
